Industry Gas PSA Nitrogen Generator

Carbon molecular sieves and zeolite molecular sieves are widely used in the field of nitrogen and oxygen production. The separation of oxygen and nitrogen by molecular sieve is mainly based on the different diffusion rates of the two gases on the surface of molecular sieve. Carbon molecular sieve is a carbon-based adsorbent with some characteristics of activated carbon and molecular sieve. The carbon molecular sieve has very small microporous composition, and the pore size distribution is between 0.3 nm and 1 nm.

The gas with smaller diameter (oxygen) diffuses faster and enters the molecular sieve solid phase more, so that the nitrogen enrichment component can be obtained in the gas phase. After a period of time, the adsorption of oxygen on the molecular sieve reaches a balance. According to the different characteristics of the adsorption amount of carbon molecular sieve to the adsorbed gas under different pressures, the pressure is reduced so that the carbon molecular sieve can remove the adsorption of oxygen. This process is called regeneration.
